*Governor Parson's Schedule for August 5-9, 2024?*

*(JEFFERSON CITY, MO)* ? Next week, Governor Mike Parson will attend several meetings and events, including opening ceremonies at the 2024 Missouri State Fair.?

On *Wednesday*, *August** 7*, Governor Parson will travel to Springfield to attend the Hawthorn Foundation's "Road Show" event. Later in the day, Governor Parson will travel to Sedalia to attend the Missouri State Fair Foundation's kick-off event.?

On *Thursday*, *August 8*, Governor Parson will participate in opening ceremonies at the Missouri State Fair and visit various buildings and exhibits, including the Cattle Barns, State Fair Fire Department, Pork Chop Place, and the Beef House. Governor and First Lady Parson will also debut the inaugural "Flavor of the Fair" ice cream treat at Gerken Dairy Center with Midwest Dairy. The inaugural flavor, chosen by Governor Parson, is Kingdom Crunchdown.
