The question I keep getting asked: "How do you campaign during a pandemic?"

Well, I'm certainly NOT shaking hands and kissing babies right now!

It's honestly been really interesting, it has been hard to raise money, but other metrics like social engagements, call results, and even simple things like e-mail open rates are WAY up! 

Here's a quick snapshot of what I mean. Here is our Facebook dashboard over the last 30 days. Check out how it compares to the 30 days previously:

Campaigns are won and lost by votes, not dollars. Every person who is paying attention to the failures of our state government right now is an opportunity for our campaign to talk about a new direction for all of us. The state of Florida is failing our newliy unemployed; they will soon need money to pay rent and mortgages on the first of the month and we can't even process their claims.  Our state is failing our small businesses.  We have no relief plan for businesses soon facing their second month of closures.

This pandemic and the resulting economic hit will most likely define our election in the Fall and we're doing everything possible to get our message out as effectively and loudly as possible.

That said, we do need help restarting our fundraising. We need to make sure there is a COST to mismanagement, a COST to failing our unemployed, and a COST to decimating our small businesses.

Every dollar raised right now goes SO MUCH FARTHER than a dollar we raise in the Summer or Fall because advertising is going so much farther now than it will once Biden and Trump start dominating the airwaves.
