Lauri B. Regan is the New York chapter president and board member of EMET, and treasurer and board member of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East. She also served on the board of the National Women’s Committee of the Republican Jewish Coalition. Ms. Regan retired from 30 years of the practice of law in April, 2018, prior to which she worked as a senior counsel in the Capital Markets practice of White & Case LLP in New York City.

Sarah Stern is the Founder and President of EMET. Prior to founding EMET, Sarah was the Executive Director for Governmental and Legislative Affairs of the American Jewish Congress, prior to that, she was the National Policy Coordinator of the Zionist Organization of America, and prior to that, she was a National Vice President of WINPAC, a national women’s pro-Israel political action committee. She has been responsible for bringing to the attention of Congress many issues that have resulted in the successful passage of legislation. Some among them include the Koby Mandell Act and amendments to Title VI of the Higher Education Act.

Sarah is the author of two books, “Cherished Illusions” a novel, which was published by Balfour Books in 2005, and “Saudi Arabia and the Global Islamic Terrorist Network: America and the West’s Fatal Embrace”, (Palgrave MacMillan, 2011).

Shoshana Byren is Senior Director of the Jewish Policy Center and Editor of inFOCUS Quarterly. A specialist in U.S. defense policy and Middle East affairs, she was previously Executive Director and Senior Director for Security Policy at JINSA. She has worked with the Strategic Studies Institute of the U.S. Army War College and the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv, and lectured at the National Defense University in Washington, and the American service academies. Mrs. Bryen coordinated programs for military professionals that allowed more than 450 American military officers to engage in discussion with counterparts in Israel and Jordan. She also created a program to take the cadets and midshipmen of America’s service academies to Israel, permitting hundreds of future officers to have a positive, in-depth experience in the Jewish State.

She is a Member of the Advisory Board of the Aleethia Foundation providing opportunities for wounded veterans of the Iraq and Afghan wars, and is a Member of the Board of the American Jewish International Relations Institute (AJIRI).

Dr. Phyllis Chesler is an Emerita Professor of Psychology and Women’s Studies at City University of New York. She is a best-selling author of 18 books, a legendary feminist leader, a retired psychotherapist and an expert courtroom witness. She has lectured and organized political, legal, religious, and human rights campaigns in the United States, Canada, Europe, Israel, and the Far East. Her work has been translated into many European languages and into Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Hebrew.

Dr. Chesler is a co-founder of the Association for Women in Psychology (1969), The National Women's Health Network (1974), and The International Committee for the (Original) Women of the Wall (1989). She is a Shillman-Ginsburg Fellow at The Middle East Forum, and a Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Global Anti-Semitism and Policy (ISGAP).

Since 9/11, Dr. Chesler has focused on the rise of anti-Semitism, the demonization of Israel, and the nature of terrorism; the rights of women, dissidents, and gays in the Hindu, Sikh, and Islamic world.
