Let me explain. Protecting and expanding access to the ballot box has been a critical part of my agenda as governor – and the work of Democratic governors across the country. That’s why I’ve signed legislation that makes it easier for voters to get to the polls, expands voter registration opportunities, protects poll workers from intimidation tactics, and more.

But recently, Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee filed a lawsuit against me because of my work helping veterans and small business owners register to vote.
