Child Suicides Have Doubled in Past 20 Years. I blame wokeism!

In a world burdened by fear, division, and an overwhelming sense of hopelessness, our children are silently bearing the weight, leading many to question whether they have any future at all.

Let’s be clear: something is deeply wrong in America today, and it’s our children who are paying the price.

The alarming rise in suicides among our youngest citizens—children as young as eight—is not just a statistic; it's a screaming alarm bell that something in our society is broken.

But why are our kids feeling this way? Why are so many of them so desperate that they see no way out but to end their own lives? The answers are as disturbing as they are complex.

America: A Racist Oppressor?

First, consider the narrative being shoved down their throats: America is a fundamentally racist country, and the society they are growing up in is divided into oppressors and the oppressed.

From an early age, children are taught to view the world through a lens of race and power.

They’re told that white men and women use their privilege to exploit minorities, squash dreams, and that this is an inescapable reality.

How can we expect young minds, still forming their sense of self and place in the world, to not be overwhelmed by such a bleak outlook?

Gender Confusion as a Virtue

Then there’s the issue of gender identity, which has become a battleground for a new kind of cultural war.

Our children are being told that their gender is not fixed—that they might need to question their sexual identity, and in some cases, undergo medical or even surgical treatments to "correct" it.

This is not just confusing—it’s terrifying.

How are children supposed to feel secure in who they are when society is constantly telling them that their very essence might be wrong?

Political Fearmongering

But it doesn’t stop there.

Even children are aware of the divisive political rhetoric surrounding figures like Donald Trump.

They hear from adults, media, and even teachers that a Trump presidency could lead to a dictatorship, stripping them of their rights and freedoms, and potentially ending democracy as we know it.

Imagine the weight of that fear on young shoulders, especially when they’re told the end of the world could be just around the corner.

Climate Change Apocalypse

If war doesn’t kill them, then climate change will—at least that’s what they’re being told.

Every day, our children are bombarded with warnings about an impending environmental catastrophe. They’re made to feel guilty for their very existence, told that their carbon footprint is contributing to the demise of the planet.

How do you think this constant barrage of doom and gloom affects a child’s psyche?

Hopelessness in the Face of Capitalism

And let’s not forget the messages they receive about American capitalism.

They are taught that our economic system only benefits the privileged few, leaving the rest—particularly minorities—stuck in a cycle of poverty with no hope of escape.

This kind of rhetoric doesn’t just depress; it breeds hopelessness.

When children are told they’re either guilty of oppressing others or are themselves victims of an unchangeable system, what possible reason do they have to feel optimistic about their futures?

A Crushing Mental Burden

In essence, today’s youth are being force-fed a diet of despair, categorized into either white guilt or underprivileged depression.

They are growing up in a society that tells them they are either the cause of the world’s problems or powerless to change their fate.

The statistics speak for themselves. The number of suicides among elementary school-age children has nearly doubled in the past 20 years, with racial minorities, particularly Black preteens, having the highest rates.

These children are not just statistics—they are victims of a culture that has lost its way.

The Role of Modern Life

Experts might cite sedentary lifestyles, poor diets, lack of sleep, and the toxic influence of social media as contributing factors to the mental health crisis.

But let’s be honest: these are just the symptoms. The disease is a society that has abandoned its children to a world of chaos, fear, and hopelessness.

It’s a world where they are told that they are either villains or victims, with no hope for redemption or success.

So, is it any wonder that our children are struggling? Is it any surprise that they are increasingly turning to suicide as a way out?

The solution isn’t just more mental health resources—though they are desperately needed. The real solution lies in addressing the cultural rot at the core of these issues.

We need to stop feeding our children lies and fear and start giving them hope, stability, and a sense of purpose. Because if we don’t, the crisis we’re seeing now will only get worse.
