Fight for a Union

John,
When hundreds of Starbucks stores organized and won their unions, workers, community members, and customers fought with us! Solidarity GOT THE GOODS! Starbucks was forced to come to the table! Now, we've been in months of radical democratic action--bargaining--that will build a better, brighter, worker powered, sustainable future! Watch now to learn more >> [[link removed]]
Unionized workers are winning! When we come together to demand better, we get higher wages, better benefits, paid leave and more. From local shops to fast food restaurants, from airports to factories, workers have been racking up wins. We are building momentum and organizing to get our fair share.
I work at Starbucks. Naysayers said that unionizing Starbucks workers would be impossible just a few years ago. Now, workers have won our unions in 45 states and more are joining all the time while our bargaining committee is working to deliver on a fair contract for all of us. That's the power of worker organizing. That's the power of democratic action.
Bargaining is the democratic process that workers have when we organize and win our unions.

This is how we do it at Starbucks: every store selects a representative to travel to each bargaining sessions. In my case, I attend virtually. At bargaining nearly 500 of us sit across from corporate leaders to discuss, approve, and negotiate the framework that will go into our contracts. By working together, we show up as REAL partners--telling Starbucks what issues matter to us.
Corporations aren't just going to give us the respect we deserve--it's why bargaining is essential to building power. Our wins are only possible because we're organizing and taking action. When we join together in solidarity, we can keep fighting for ourselves, our coworkers, our families, and our movement. We need to spread the word about the union difference, the bargaining difference. Share NOW! [[link removed]]
In solidarity,
