Anti-vaccine influencers misuse mortality graphs to discredit vaccines. For diseases like typhoid fever, they overlook the impact of water filtration, pasteurization, and the availability of vaccines since 1896. While improved sanitation and hygiene played a role, targeted eradication campaigns, newer vaccines, and antibiotic treatments contributed to the decline. These factors, not vaccines, primarily reduced typhoid fever in developed countries.
