Hey everyone –

This year, abortion and reproductive health are on the ballot.

The choice is clear. On one hand, we have Vice President Kamala Harris running for President – someone who has fought her entire career to protect a woman’s right to choose.

On the other hand, we have former President Trump and his VP pick J.D. Vance, who both believe abortions should be banned. 

President Trump has repeatedly bragged about how he feels responsible for the overturning of Roe v. Wade. J.D. Vance believes that, even in instance of rape and incest, abortion should not be allowed. He also believes IVF should be banned.

And across the board, GOP candidates running for Congress want to push those same agendas.

Over my time in Congress, I was able to work with then-Senator Kamala Harris as we both fiercely defended a woman’s right to bodily autonomy. This year, with our health on the ballot, and with the chance to elect the first female President in our history, we must come together as Democrats and protect reproductive health care. Our daughters and granddaughters are counting on us.
