Folks, you’ve probably heard about Project 2025 by now — the 900-page blueprint created by the conservative think-tank, the Heritage Foundation.
But you may not know the ins and outs of what’s inside. Long story short, it’s a right-wing fever dream — a wish list for a potential Trump presidency that includes attacks on women’s reproductive rights, threats to programs designed to curb climate change, and tax cuts for the richest Americans.
Project 2025 would also threaten the jobs of hundreds of thousands of federal workers — many of whom are Virginians.
In fact, Trump himself said he will ship 100,000 federal jobs out of DC and reclassify another 50,000 civil servants as ‘political appointees’ if he’s elected this November.
Hundreds of thousands of federal workers call Virginia home. And Trump’s attacks on our public servants — many of whom keep our basic services running — should scare us all.
Look, Project 2025 would be disastrous for our Commonwealth and our country. And I’ll do everything in my power to make sure that doesn’t happen — but I need your help to keep Virginia blue and block the GOP from winning here in November.
