Dear John, 

We hope you are at home safe and healthy in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s been a rough few weeks and we will only get through this by working together and staying connected.

As members of the generation that came of age during the Great Recession, we are experiencing our second once-in-a-lifetime economic downturn. The economic effects of the virus will impact our lives and careers far into the future, which is why young people need to seek out the resources to help us move forward on the best possible paths.

We will discuss this at our virtual meeting on Thursday, April 30th at 7 PM. Between now and that meeting, we’ll also be informing you about where to get help if you need it, and how we as the MCYD plan to make a contribution to our community.

We hope to see you at our next meeting on Thursday, April 30th.
