The vote counting took a few days, but Arizona’s primary results in 3
critical toss-up races are in!

Progressive Democrat Ruben Gallego officially enters the general election
for U.S. Senate against Republican Kari Lake. Ruben has a long history of
defending democracy and fighting for progressive causes -- and a proven
track record of electability in Arizona. Kari Lake is a right-wing,
election-denying extremist who supports a near-total abortion ban with no
exceptions for rape or incest. ([ [link removed] ]Donate to Ruben Gallego here.)

In Arizona’s 1st Congressional District, Dr. Amish Shah will take on
vulnerable Republican Congressman David Schweikert, whose margins have
been shrinking in recent elections. In 2022, Schweikert squeaked in by
less than 1% -- and Biden won this district in 2020. Cook Political Report
rates this race a toss-up. ([ [link removed] ]Donate to Amish Shah here.)

In Arizona’s 6th Congressional District, Democrat Kirsten Engel and
Republican Rep. Juan Ciscomani head to a rematch of their 2022 face-off,
which the Republican won by less than 1%. Politico calls this race "one of
the most competitive House seats this year." ([ [link removed] ]Donate to Kirsten Engel

NPR reports, "Control of Congress could run through Arizona." Each of
these races will factor heavily into which party controls Congress. And
each of these campaigns voter turnout programs will be critical for the
presidential election. Biden won Arizona in 2020 by less than 11,000
votes!

[ [link removed] ]Can you donate what you can to Ruben Gallego, Amish Shah (AZ-01), and
Kirsten Engel (AZ-06) as they fight for control of Congress – and very
likely the White House?

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
