Summer Greetings!?
Family Growth and Resource Center of Ingham County:?
A family seeking refuge from Turkey, with limited English and having been in the United States for only two months, arrived at the Family Resource Center in Lansing. There, they received essential items such as diapers, personal care products, and clothing for their children. Through a translation app, they shared their heartfelt gratitude: ?This is why we are so happy to be in America ? people like you who help their neighbors.??
This FRC is equipped to serve refugees as they have materials in multiple languages.? When families need other services, they can make in-house referrals and also provide education like nutrition classes to equip them for healthy living.
