According to the latest UK Housing Price Index the average price of a home in Nottingham in May was ?192,343. This is an annual growth rate of -1.9%.
Zoopla's UK House Price Index - July 2024 report highlights that nationally 12% homes for sale were previously rented while 40% remain in the rental sector after sale or sale failure. There are 16% more homes for sale nationally than a year ago, although this may be due to inability to sell.
|
Annual rental inflation in Nottingham has slowed to 4.8%, down from 9.3% a year ago. This is the lowest rate since September 2021, according to Zoopla?s latest quarterly Rental Market Report. The decline from 2023 onwards may indicate market stabilization. This is probably partially due to the increase of Local Housing Allowance rates in April 2024, which has provided greater affordability to tenants, by sustaining rental prices and demand.?
The average rental price in Nottingham was ?935pcm in June, with renters paying 25% more than they were 3 years ago.
