By the time this email hits your inbox, the Flying Eye Hospital will have landed in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for its next ophthalmic training project.
Orbis staff will be spending the next few days getting the plane into hospital mode and preparing it for a three-week project where our expert Volunteer Faculty and clinical staff will train local eye care teams in both pediatric and adult subspecialities while treating patients who ordinarily would not have access to the eye care they need.
This project, made possible by your generous donations and our dedicated project sponsors, includes learning sessions and workshops, live surgical training, and simulation exercises.
