U.S. Gives September 11 Mastermind, Two Terrorists a Plea Deal

New York Post: The alleged mastermind of the Sept. 11 terror attacks and two other terrorists being held in Guantánamo Bay will be spared the death penalty under a deal with prosecutors, it was revealed Wednesday. The announcement was a bitter pill to swallow for victims’ families who have anxiously awaited the conclusion of the case for nearly 24 years — many of whom felt death was the only appropriate punishment for the perpetrators of the heinous attacks. A spokesperson for the Office of Military Commissions (OMC), which is prosecuting the case, confirmed it had entered into pre-trial agreements with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed — the accused principal architect of the al Qaeda attacks — and two alleged co-conspirators, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin Attash and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi, all of whom have been held at the US military prison on the coast of Cuba since 2003 (New York Post). Speaker Mike Johnson: The Biden-Harris Administration has done the unthinkable: they’ve agreed to a plea deal with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the September 11th attacks, and two of his accomplices. 23 years ago, America watched in horror as thousands of innocent Americans died. America  mourned for weeks afterwards as first responders sifted through the ashes at Ground Zero, at the Pentagon, and at the crash site in Shanksville. For more than two decades, the families of those murdered by these terrorists have waited for justice. This plea deal is a slap in the face of those families. They deserved better from the Biden-Harris Administration (X).

Two Illegal Immigrants From Jordan Who Tried Breaching Military Base Released After Posting Bail
New York Post: The two illegal Jordanian migrants who are charged with trying to breach Marine Corps Base Quantico in May posted thousands of dollars in bail and were allowed to leave federal custody. Hasan Yousef Hamdan, 32, and Mohammad Khair Dabous, 28, were released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention despite their immigration status — Hamdan had crossed into the country illegally in April and Dabous had overstayed his student visa and is subject to removal proceedings. They were arrested on May 3 for trespassing onto the military installation and handed over to ICE officers because of their immigration statuses (New York Post). Guy Benson: The Kamala Harris worldview: Plea deal for the 9/11 mastermind (no death penalty). Bail & release for Middle Eastern illegal immigrants who tried to breach Quantico. Voting rights for the Boston Marathon bomber. Don’t you dare say “radical Islamic terrorism” (X).

Italian Woman Quits Boxing Match After Taking a Punch From a Biological Male Opponent
What kind of man feels good after beating up a woman? The olympics just let this man trample over her life’s work. Daily Mail: Female Italian boxer Angela Carini says she stopped her Olympic bout against her ‘biologically male’ opponent to ‘save my life.’  The clash between the 25-year-old and her Algerian opponent Imane Khelif lasted just 46 seconds, with Carini yelling ‘this is unjust’ before she fell to canvas and wept having had her Olympic dreams snatched away from her. Carini was rocked by two punches from Khelif – who had been banned from a major boxing contest before the Olympics – and said the savage force of the blows made it ‘impossible to continue’ (Daily Mail). Charlie Kirk: Enough of the gender insanity and the pandering to avoid hurting someone’s precious feelings. The Olympics just allowed a biological man, Imane Khelif, to pummel Italian Olympian Angela Carini. She lasted 46 seconds because to how painful it was: “I have never been hit so hard in my life.” Her life’s work was stolen by a man who beats up women for sport. Will someone have to die before people wake up?! This entire ideology is pure evil (X). Riley Gaines: Call me crazy, but It’s almost as if women don’t want to be punched in the face by a male as the world watches and applauds. This is glorified male violence against women (X).  Hung Cao: Let’s just call it for what it is, okay? People like Kamala Harris would rather see a real woman get punched in the face than hurt this dude’s feelings by telling him he’s not a woman (X).

Russia, Western Countries Agree to Large Prisoner Swap
Just the News: Russia has agreed to a multi-country prison swap involving dozens of prisoners, including Americans Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich and former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan, Turkish officials said Thursday morning. Turkey also says the deal involves 24 prisoners and Germany. The swap, if completed, would be the largest since the Cold War (Just the News). Reporter Noah Rothman: Very heartening to hear US captives in Russia — Evan Gershkovich, Paul Whelan, and Gordon Black – are released. They were bargaining chips for Moscow but yet to see what the Kremlin got in return. Putin traded a notorious arms dealer and a convicted hitman for Brittney Griner (X). Wall Street Journal: Vadim Krasikov—a Russian hit man and former intelligence officer convicted of murdering an enemy of the Kremlin in a Berlin park—told a guard in the German prison where he was serving a life sentence that, “the Russian Federation will not leave me to rot in jail.” On Thursday, that boast became reality. Krasikov was released by German authorities and handed over to Russia as part of the largest East-West prisoner swap since the Cold War… Russian President Vladimir Putin had personally demanded Krasikov’s return to Russia. For him, the assassin’s release is meant to send a dual message: The Kremlin will hunt down its enemies, even if they flee to the West, and it won’t abandon those who remain loyal to his government (Wall Street Journal).

America First Legal Successfully Sues NJ School District for Forcing Children to Take DEI Surveys Without Parental Approval
America First Legal: America First Legal (AFL) secured an important victory for the parents of Cedar Grove, New Jersey, when the U.S. Department of Education decided that the Cedar Grove School District violated the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA). According to the Department, the district violated the law by failing to provide parents with lawful prior notice of and a meaningful opportunity to opt their children out of the district’s “equity” and “diversity” surveys. The PPRA is an important federal law that protects public school parents and children by guaranteeing parents the right to review the curriculum used to teach their children at school and to have prior notice of and a meaningful right to opt out of intrusive and biased surveys and studies of their children. Among other things, the PPRA prevents public schools from collecting information about political affiliations beliefs, the sex behavior or attitudes, and “critical appraisals of other individuals with whom respondents have close family relationships” of a student or her family (America First Legal). AFL: We sued the Department of Education for failing to investigate a NJ school district for forcing children as young as 8 to take DEI surveys without parental consent. Following our lawsuit, the gov’t concluded that the school district DID violate parental rights (X).
