Sign-up for our virtual conference featuring youth activists from the Muslim Youth Leadership Council

As salaamu alaykum YAN,

Ramadan Mubarak! Today marks the beginning of Ramadan, a holy month for Muslims all across the world. This is a special time for us to ground ourselves, connect with community, nourish our spirituality, and give to others in the spirit of social justice.

This year, Ramadan will most definitely be different. But, the Muslim Youth Leadership Council is finding ways to creatively support queer Muslims and allies virtually.

We would like to invite you to our first-ever virtual conference, #MuslimAnd Advocates: Exploring Our Intersections, next weekend, May 2-3. We will be exploring all things queer & Muslim - from supporting our mental health, destigmatizing sex and relationships (with @TheVillageAuntie!), countering Islamophobia, to being #MuslimAnd Pro-Black!

You can also support our work by sharing out surveys for our next up & coming brochure: "I'm Muslim & My Child Might Not Be Straight." We are looking for feedback from Muslim youth and Muslim parents. You can find the Muslim youth survey here, and the Muslim parents survey here. Thank you!

With Peace,
