Hi John,

A few weeks ago I emailed you with a message: Times were tough, but we could turn things around if we stopped agonizing, and kept organizing.

Looking around at where we are today, that messaging has proven to be accurate!

Democrats are fired up for Vice President Kamala Harris, and we are seeing new momentum in our must-win tossup seats. In just a month, the spirit and energy has shifted across our nation.

And California Democrats are paving the way!

But in my last message, I also said that this campaign (like all campaigns) would have ups and downs. Not every day will have great headlines in the news for Democrats.

That remains true today, as well.

We need to stay focused on what’s important for winning in 2024, and that includes hitting financial fundraising goals. That’s why I’m so excited to share that — thanks to supporters like you — we hit our July goal!

There is so much more work ahead, and we cannot let ourselves be deterred or distracted. Let’s hit the phones, pound the pavement, contribute donations when we can, and get Kamala Harris elected President with a Democratic U.S. House.
