Yesterday was our July end-of-month fundraising deadline.

The good news: After hearing just how important hitting our fundraising
target was, grassroots supporters like you stepped up in a big way. Over
the past few days, our people-powered campaign saw a major last-minute
influx of donations.

The bad news: Unfortunately, we didn’t quite reach our goal.

We can’t afford to start August behind on our fundraising. But there’s
more good news: my team tells me that if everyone reading this email
chipped in just a few bucks, we’d be back on track to meet our next goal.

Our work in the Attorney General’s office has always been deeply
important. But as election day approaches and the right-wing threat to our
democracy grows graver with each passing day, it’s never been more
