John, First, thank you to everyone who is able to stay home, stay safe, and help our nation. And a special thank you to everyone who is out serving our communities at hospitals, shelters, pharmacies, food banks, grocery stores, and transit systems. We are a brave nation, united and working together in this time of crisis. We know millions of families with children are trying to stay on track with learning at home—and we want to lend a hand. Voices for Public Transit has created a few stay-at-home educational activities for kids in grades K-8. Learn About Our Stay-at-Home Activities for Kids >>> Our activities include a concentration card game, a word search puzzle, and a reading passage—all with a public transportation theme. We’ve also created an activity that teaches kids how to analyze a bus schedule. Please read our blog to learn more and download our activities. Let other families know about our activities as well by forwarding this email. We wish you, your family, and community all the best. Stay safe (and sane)! Thank you, Chad Chitwood Voices for Public Transit Community Coordinator |
