About the job

As a Fiscal Analyst 2 within the Accounts Receivable team of the Finance Division, you will independently perform general or specialized fiscal duties under general supervision. Your role will involve adhering to state regulations, agency policies, and accounts receivable procedures to accurately execute complex financial analyses and resolve receivable discrepancies. You will ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing and accounts receivable transactions for client agencies, working in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), state regulations, and the policies of the Department of Enterprise Services (DES) and client agencies. This position contributes to strengthening government operations by enabling DES programs and small agency partners to focus on their missions while you provide precise financial data and reports. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor, you will collaborate with Finance Division staff, client agency managers and staff, local governments, and external customers/vendors, handling assignments both verbally and in writing from the DES SAFS Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
