John -
We have a big announcement.
Together with many of our partners in the climate movement, we are endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris to be the next president of the United States.
The first woman, the first Black woman, the first South Asian woman, and most importantly, the first real chance for a climate champion in the White House — this is an historic moment!
John, are you with us? Join us and endorse VP Harris with us now!
Our planet continues to hit record-breaking temperatures.1 Our communities continue to suffer the impacts of the climate crisis.2 The stakes could not be any higher in this election.
VP Harris has a history of taking on Big Oil and pushing for climate justice — in her 2020 campaign, she advocated for a Green New Deal.3
And while we don’t yet know VP Harris’ full platform for 2024, we’re all too aware of the dangers that a Trump presidency, as laid out in Project 2025, would bring — both here in the U.S. and in the regions around the world that bear the brunt of the climate crisis while doing the least to cause it.4
For those of us who care about democracy and climate, VP Harris is our only choice. Because here’s what we do know:
We know that VP Harris believes in science. We know that she has supported climate and environmental justice policies in the past — as San Francisco’s district attorney, she set up one of the first environmental justice offices in the country to go after corporate polluters.
And we know that, unlike Trump, she is susceptible to influence from our movement.
We are and always have been a people-powered movement, so, just like we pushed the Biden-Harris administration, we will be pushing the Harris administration on Day 1. But first, she needs to win!
John, will you join us and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for president?
Together, we can help elect VP Harris and defeat Trump. And together, we can continue to win bold action for climate justice.
In solidarity,
Jeff Ordower
