beagles, beagles, beagles, beagles.

This is an emergency call to action. The Defense Dept. plans to destroy beagle puppies. It’s a hard government deadline. Read below to take action or unsubscribe.

Dear Taxpayer,

My name is Megan Andersen.

I am a Vice President at the White Coat Waste Project—the group who stops government animal testing.

I am reaching out with this top four list (see below) before tonight’s massive deadline.

You need to know that our newest Rapid Response fund is falling seriously behind where it needs to be.

We’re fighting to save a batch of baby beagles—the “Pentagon Puppies”—who could suffer and die in a lab funded by the Dept. of Defense (DOD). In these kinds of tests, a beagle’s mouth is stuffed with chemicals—and then TAPED SHUT so she can’t regurgitate the poison.

Tonight is a very rare opportunity to stop this madness.

The Pentagon’s contract for animal testing is up.

It’s an official government deadline, Taxpayer.

Your donation tonight is unusually important.

Here are four reasons why:

1. We're tracking about 22% behind budget for how much money it took to win our recent campaign ending all monkey testing at the FDA’s top primate lab.

The Pentagon Puppies will be even harder to save because the DOD is the government’s most powerful agency. We made up a decent amount yesterday, but we still need to raise $14,242 by midnight.

2. Our average donation is down. That's a problem because it's about 12% lower than last month’s baseline level. Now we need many more gifts to close the gap before 11:59 PM.

We rely on smaller grassroots donations to fund our winning campaigns—over 80% of our work is funded by folks who give to email appeals like this.

It’s how we pay for investigative research, media, advertising, litigation, and lobbying. It’s how the world learned about the Pentagon Puppies.

3. We win the tough fights that big, establishment animal advocacy groups can't. Dr. Fauci’s drug tests on beagle puppies? Stopped. The Dept. of Veterans Affairs' dog labs? Bye Bye. NIH’s cat and animal testing in Russia? Dasvidaniya. You and I won all those fights. (Don't forget: nobody else—and I do mean nobody—has shut down a government dog lab in nearly two decades).

I can keep going… but honestly, Taxpayer??

I'd prefer just to win again for the Pentagon Puppies before their mouths are taped shut.

There’s ZERO anesthesia. And ZERO pain relief in tests like this.

So, I’m campaigning to ZERO IT OUT in the DOD’s new contract!

Tonight’s deadline is the key. Big groups can't get it done. We're the only ones working on it.

Let's give it our one-of-a-kind WCW treatment!

4. Now, here’s the worst number of them all: THIRTEEN. These sweet beagles will undergo 13 WEEKS of suffering. That’s 91 days of torture!

So please Taxpayer, if you are financially able, rush your most generous donation to stop this DOD payout, support all our life-saving campaigns, and save the Pentagon Puppies before MIDNIGHT.

You Give. We Win. They Survive,

Megan Andersen

Taxpayers shouldn't be forced to pay $20 billion+ for wasteful government animal experiments.
