First, we want to share some good news:

Thanks to this grassroots team, we didn’t just meet our fundraising goals last month, we exceeded them.

That’s exactly the kind of momentum we need at this point of the race, and we can’t afford to let it slip. We can’t thank this team enough for your incredible and continued support.

Because here’s the bad news:

Yesterday, the chair of the National Republican Campaign Committee, Richard Hudson, went on Fox News and said this:

“We’re going to do well in New York. Not only do I think we’ll hold our seats, we’re going to pick up an additional seat in NY-18, where incumbent Pat Ryan [is].”

It’s just the latest proof point that House Republicans are all-in to defeat Pat Ryan and replace him with Alison Esposito, a MAGA extremist who would be a rubber stamp for Trump’s extreme agenda.

So look, team, we’re not asking for a donation today. We need money to fund all of our ads, and organizers, and yard signs and more. But this email is about something else.
