It’s official: CeaseFirePA Action has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for President in 2024.

Vice President Harris has been an integral part of the most pro-gun safety Presidential Administration in U.S. History. She currently heads the first-ever federal Office of Gun Violence Prevention, which has helped reduce carnage across the country through strategic investments in community-based violence prevention programs, crafted an emergency response program to mass shootings, and led other life-saving initiatives.

Pennsylvanians want to live in safety – Vice President Harris will continue the monumental work started by the Biden-Harris Administration to ensure that we all get to live in safe, thriving communities. I’m so proud to endorse this gun safety champion for President – I want to shout it from the rooftops, but I need your help. Will you read our endorsement statement and share it with your friends on social media?

But, that’s not the only good news I need you to spread like wildfire. We’re also endorsing 84 gun safety champions running for nearly half of the districts in the PA House. And we’ll be announcing PA Senate endorsements soon, too.

Some of these champions are powerful PA House incumbents who have proven their gun safety prowess by sponsoring, and voting for, legislation to ban ghost guns[1] and bump stocks[2], and to help law enforcement interrupt gun trafficking[3]. Others are inspiring challengers who are going to flip seats and expand our House gun safety majority. Let me say this next part plainly: we need all of them to secure a gun safety agenda next term, and build a Commonwealth free of gun violence.

If we’re going to send Vice President Harris to the White House – and I believe we will – we need to give her a state-level partner to help eradicate gun violence in Pennsylvania. That’s why we must expand our gun safety majority, and, frankly, it’s going to take all of us to get there.
