Hi friend,
Do you often stop to consider what really matters in life? What does it mean
to live a fruitful life? As believers we know that a life void of true
connection to God is meaningless. Even a life with temporary success or worldly
fame apart from God is a mark of an empty life.

Fruitful Christian living boils down to one word—abiding. The most important
thing that any believer can do is to abide in Christ. As we abide, His Word
takes root in our hearts and bears fruit in our lives.
When I think of a man who lived a fruitful Christian life and focused on the
things of eternal significance, Dr. J. Dwight Pentecost comes to mind. Dr.
Pentecost served as a DTS professor for 58 years. Although he is now in glory,
the impact of his deep commitment to the Lord can still be felt at DTS and
beyond. It is my privilege to share some of his biblical wisdom with you through
this free e-book,Abide in Me.
