DES starting solicitation to replace document destruction services contract
DES is starting solicitation 03124 for document destruction services to succeed statewide contract 00419, which expires June 30, 2025.
This solicitation is for on- and off-site digital media destruction, hard drive destruction and on and off-site paper destruction and purging.

DES starting solicitation to replace personnel investigators and digital forensics contract
DES is starting solicitation 01924 for personnel investigators and digital forensics to replace statewide contract 07821, which expires Feb. 28, 2027. We are replacing this contract early to include more vendors on the contract.
This solicitation is for services to investigate:
- Workplace discrimination claims (i.e., race, gender, national origin, religion, veteran status, disability and age)
- Sexual harassment or hostile work environment
- Employee misconduct
- Employee performance issues
- Just cause (i.e., complaint process under a union contract)
- Title IX
- HIPAA
- Retaliation
This solicitation is also for services assisting with saving, identifying, extracting and documenting evidence found on a digital device. The goal is to help with court cases, lawsuits and investigations of complaints.

New statewide contracts
New statewide contract available for truck-mounted sprayers
DES has a new statewide contract 27223 for truck-mounted sprayers. This contract replaces contract 02818 which expires Aug. 1.

DES issues additional awards for renewable diesel in two regions
Effective July 15, DES signed contract 08721, which includes additional awards with Christensen for the renewable diesel category in the Northwest 1 region. The contract also includes additional awards for Petrocard for the renewable diesel category in Northwest 1 and Northwest 2 regions.

Contract changes
Expiring flooring and installation contract may lead to purchasing gap
Contract 01820 for flooring and installation will expire Sept. 30, so there will be a gap in contract coverage. We encourage purchasers to place orders before the expiration date.
We are in the process of developing a new contract. We are in the planning stage right now and expect to award the contract in November.

Expiring forklift contract may lead to purchasing gap
Contract 06115 for forklifts will expire Oct. 31, so there will be a gap in contract coverage. We encourage purchasers to place orders before the expiration date.
We are in the process of developing a new contract. We are in the drafting stage and expect to award the contract in December.

Price changes on process server contract
DES posted updated pricing for contract 17422 for process server services. The prices increased by 5.1% for the scheduled annual economic price adjustment, effective July 10.
DES extends five snow and ice product contracts, removes one contractor
DES extended contract 11021 for snow and ice products. Four contracts are extended until Aug. 1, 2028, and one contract is extended until Aug. 1, 2025. Also, The Paradigm Group LLC is no longer on the contract.
