John, we've got good news: voters are fired up about Kamala Harris.
According to the latest polling, the vice president is gaining ground in all seven critical swing states. She's now beating Donald Trump in Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin, Nevada -- and tied with him in Georgia.
These polls are especially exciting because three of the states in which Harris now leads Trump are Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin -- where EMILYs List-endorsed candidates Elissa Slotkin, Jacky Rosen, and Tammy Baldwin are running to secure their seats and save the Senate majority. Plus, we have a total of ten Democratic pro-choice women running in critical House races across the seven states polled.
Vice President Harris's gains in these states will help bolster Slotkin, Rosen, Baldwin, and all our swing state candidates -- and vice versa. When one EMILYs List woman succeeds, that success resounds up and down the ballot.
But don't forget: while this new polling is incredibly hopeful, we still have 96 days between now and the election, and Republicans will be fighting tooth and nail to recover their lost ground. That means we have to sustain -- and grow -- this momentum every single day for the next 96 days. Because we know our opponents will do everything in their power to stop this groundswell in its tracks.
