Americans have lost faith in our nation's highest court, and it’s ridiculous that their conduct too often falls below the standards that most other government officials are required to follow.

I stand with President Biden for his comprehensive plan to restore the public's trust in the integrity of the Supreme Court and look forward to working to make these reforms a reality.

As a ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, I’ve been fighting to enforce an ethical set of standards and a term limit within our nation’s highest court for years. Add your name if you agree we need to reform the Supreme Court and restore accountability to our nation's highest court!

The Supreme Court is one of the nation’s most vital institutions and their commitment to equal and impartial justice, along with the public’s faith in its integrity, is foundational to maintaining the rule of law.

Our judicial system suffers when it looks like the Justices of the Supreme Court — the very people we entrust to maintain the rule of law — think that they, themselves, are above the law.

Recent ethical lapses by Justices Alito and Thomas have highlighted the ethical crisis within the Roberts Court, and I have been steadfast in my support for holding them accountable.

This is not a normal Court. It is one fueled by an extremist agenda and dark money, with no consideration for the proper ethics of the highest court of the land. We cannot sit idly by and watch this conservative majority chip away at progress toward equity, fairness and opportunity.

A fair, impartial court is a cornerstone of our democracy, and we must restore Americans' faith in our judicial system. Sign on if you agree with President Biden’s reforms to hold Supreme Court Justices accountable for their actions, enforce a term limit, and create a binding code of conduct.

Onward,

Jerry
