Let’s get straight to it — Color Of Change PAC is endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as the next president of the United States.

Throughout the years, I’ve worked hand in hand with Vice President Harris and experienced her leadership in action. I understand how essential she will be in combating these extremist threats and to continue moving our nation forward. Vice President Harris is the partner in the White House that we need to defend racial justice and win the progress we deserve. Electing the right president will ensure we can stay at the table and keep fighting for a more just and equitable society, and win for our families and communities.

With the looming threats posed by Project 2025, the stakes of this election couldn’t be more urgent. Donald Trump, JD Vance and their extremist allies are working to roll back critical protections and advancements in civil rights, education, environmental justice and social equity that will hurt Black communities for decades to come. Extremists seek to criminalize the work of organizations like ours – organizations working to hold actors and institutions accountable while fighting for a better tomorrow.

From today until Election Day, our organizing operation will mobilize thousands of volunteers to engage Black voters in key battleground states to create a surge of voters in this critical election. Throughout her illustrious career, Kamala Harris consistently has demonstrated her unwavering commitment to justice, equality and opportunity for all. She has been pivotal in advancing key legislative efforts, including the historic American Rescue Plan, which provided critical relief to millions of Americans during the pandemic and significantly reduced child poverty. Will you chip in right now to help elect a president who will support the economic and societal improvement of Black lives?

She has been a leader in championing maternal health initiatives for Black women, including challenging state governments to expand coverage for postpartum coverage from two months to a year, which significantly helps new Black parents and caretakers provide for their children. She was the first sitting vice president to visit an abortion clinic and launched the “Fight for Reproductive Freedoms” tour across the country. From implementing the “Back on Track” program in California to co-sponsoring the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act in the U.S. Senate to her countless efforts supporting federal sentencing reform, Vice President Harris’ work as a former district attorney and a former attorney general of California will be instrumental in bringing about the structural changes necessary in our criminal justice system.
