John, it's time mobilize against fascism!

Trump and Vance are coming to Atlanta for a hate rally on Saturday August 3rd at the GSU Convocation Center. Fascists are not welcome here! These far-right extremists want to ban abortion nationwide, disenfranchise voters of color, begin mass deportations of immigrants, attack queer and trans people, dismantle the labor movement, and escalate US-backed violence in Gaza and across the world.

Atlanta says NO FASCISTS IN OUR TOWN! Working people are uniting to fight back against hatred. We stand for democracy, equality and liberation. Trump/Vance, go home!

We plan to gather for a peaceful demonstration at the intersection of Hank Aaron Dr SW and Fulton St SE, outside of the GSU Convocation Center where the Trump/Vance rally will be held. Will you join us there?

Prior to the protest, we'll gather tonight, Thursday, 6:30pm at the DSA office for an Art Build to prepare signs and banners for use at Saturday's demonstration.

A second Trump presidency would be disastrous for working people, particularly Black people and people of color, queer and trans people, and immigrants. Atlanta DSA stands in total, unequivocal opposition to Donald Trump's presidential campaign.
