John,
I’ve been joining canvassers knocking on doors in Congresswoman Cori Bush’s district this week, with less than a week left until her primary election next Tuesday.
But we need more help connecting with local voters to overcome the $10 million that anti-Palestinian group AIPAC has spent to drown out Cori Bush’s voice.
Because of the influx of money from AIPAC’s Trump-supporting donors, the race is now tied between Cori and her anti-ceasefire opponent.
We know AIPAC is targeting Cori Bush because she’s been a champion for Palestinian rights for years, including leading a resolution for a ceasefire in Congress. I need her to stay by my side in Congress pushing back against state violence and instead demanding our government invest in the things people need to live and thrive: housing, healthcare, reproductive justice, utilities, reparations, and more.
Please sign up to phonebank with our team TONIGHT from 6-8 pm ET to help re-elect the pro-Palestine progressive leader Cori Bush to Congress.
Can’t make a phonebank session tonight? No problem. Our allies at the Working Families Party are hosting phonebank sessions from tonight through next Tuesday to help re-elect Congresswoman Cori Bush. Sign up for one or multiple shifts to stand up to AIPAC and keep Cori fighting by my side for justice and equity for all.
For any of these phonebank shifts, all you'll need at home is a computer with an internet connection.
Every bit counts between now and Missouri’s August 6th primary election. This isn’t just about Cori’s race, but about all progressives in public office who are willing to take a stand for Palestinians’ humanity.
Even when it makes her a target, Cori Bush continues to call out the U.S. government’s complicity in ethnic cleansing and war crimes. She’s listening to the majority of Americans who don’t want their tax dollars funding genocide, but instead are demanding investments in our communities to ensure that everyone can thrive.
In June, AIPAC spent an unprecedented $20 million against Squad member Rep. Jamaal Bowman and unfortunately his anti-ceasefire pro-genocide opponent won. Now they’re spending millions attacking Cori Bush and supporting her anti-ceasefire primary opponent.
We can’t afford to lose another member of our progressive Squad who’s been one of the few leading voices in Congress demanding an end to genocide, apartheid, and occupation. We can’t let AIPAC’s pro-Trump billionaire donors continue to interfere in our democracy.
If you can’t phonebank between tonight and next Tuesday, could you send a donation directly to Cori Bush’s re-election campaign now?
Thank you for standing by my side to help send Cori back to Congress to fight for us.
In solidarity,
Rashida
