Friend,
Last week, we asked our Clinton Foundation community to share how you can show up for women and girls around the world and in your community.
The responses we received were inspiring, uplifting, and diverse. A few examples:
Be a willing mentor and share honestly.
-CAROL P.
Stand as an example in my field of medicine and public health. Make sure to include other women of diverse backgrounds and train the next generation of women.
-BELINDA O.
Let us all name the mentor who helped us! Secretary Clinton once honored a woman who lifted her up; mine was my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Baber.
-JULIA T.
Empower men and boys to stop and fight gender-based violence.
-NCAMISO D.
Don't dismiss older women. We have ideas and thoughts — not all good or all bad. Not having people even listen devalued us.
-KJ B.
Among the hundreds of responses we received, a few common emerged: mentorship, citizen engagement, and allyship .
As the Foundation moves forward with our critical work supporting full representation for women and girls, we will keep your inspirational words and stories in mind. Help us continue on this path — donate today to support our efforts.
