CLASP’s new series, A Path Forward, includes six short policy briefs that examine the important progress made in recent years in child care, the tax code, immigration, student debt relief, worker protections, and the child tax credit. By both celebrating the successes and examining what work remains in these areas, A Path Forward offers a roadmap for a more equitable and stable future for communities of color, immigrant communities, and communities with low incomes, among others.
The series also serves as a reminder to policymakers, advocates, and the public that policies providing economic and social protections benefit all of us while also laying out what’s at stake if we lose ground on the progress already made.
