Governor Reynolds and her extremist allies got their six-week abortion ban — effectively a near-total ban — but they aren't stopping there. Anti-choice extremists have a larger vision for Iowa: A total ban with no exceptions, including no exceptions for rape or incest.

It's unconscionable.

Our rights shouldn't be up for debate and extremists shouldn't be able to ban routine, life-saving medical procedures. We need a movement that is strong enough to fight against the extremist policies that Iowa's far-right are demanding.
