Yesterday, I was asked by the press: "What do you think is the most pressing issue in the First Congressional District, and how would you, if elected, use your position in Congress to rectify it?"

As you might know, I'm not one for short sound bites. I don't partake in meaningless rhetoric or platitudes. So, it prompted me to write this.

The best way I know how to get this entire piece in front of enough voters ahead of the Tues. Aug. 6 Democrat Primary is to mobilize you, to ask you to share it with your friends and family. 

When I'm sending e-mails, I'm only talking to about 10% of the voter base.
