Join us for a fun read-aloud followed by time to create something connected to the story from Duplo bricks. Best for ages 18 months to 3 years and a caregiver.

Texas Bluebonnet Award Book Club

Tuesday, August 20, 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Kids in grades 3-6 and a caregiver can dig deep into this year's Texas Bluebonnet Award List at Bluebonnet Book Club! For August, we'll be reading Daybreak on Raven Island by Fleur T. Bradley.

Teen D&D Club

Friday, August 23, 4:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Learn adventuring basics this month as we spin a tale of warriors, wizards, & fearsome foes! Bring your own character and smart device to play. Open to grades 6-12.

Fellowship of the Crafters

Tuesday, August 27, 6:00 p.m. - 7:45 p.m.

Each crafting project is its own epic journey, but you don't have to craft alone. Join the Fellowship of the Crafters every 4th Tuesday of the month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in the Library Reading Alcove with your current work in progress, regardless of the medium. We provide the chat and snacks, and you provide the craft!

Library Showcase 2024: Storybook Ball

Thursday, September 26, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

There's free fun for everyone at the Hurst Public Library's Storybook Ball Showcase on Thursday, September 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Snack on fresh popcorn and cotton candy while you enjoy crafts, games, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and live music by Satellite at 7:00 p.m.
