When I was considering getting into this race, a lot of people told me "no" – said I didn't have a chance, it would be a waste of my career, that a Democrat can't win statewide in Texas. 

But I've spent my life overcoming the odds, and I've always done it with help from people like you – people who, instead of saying "no," saw the potential and said "yes." So I wanted to do something different today and just say thank you.

Thank you for getting behind me since day one of this campaign; I'm honored that hundreds of thousands of folks have joined this campaign and are helping build the biggest grassroots team Texas has ever seen.
