Sending a quick note with my deepest gratitude in the shadow of the election results last night. LD 5 Democrats showed up incredibly at the polls and our campaign has received the top spot with 14,599+ votes. A great success that ends with two more years of the work I love at the legislature.
I am humbled by the support and thank each and every one of you for making the difference. Post-election finds me spending time with family, but I’ll be back knocking on doors in just a few days to help secure Democratic victories across the board in November, including for our own Lela Alston in the Senate!
Congratulations to Aaron Marquez who will represent LD 5 together with me in the State House next session. And a job well done to Charles Lucking and Dorri Thyden for running great campaigns.
