Since the protest, there has been
even more alarming news out of the conflict. In the last 24 hours,
there are reports of Israel assassinating the political leader of
Hamas on Iranian soil and attempting to kill a Hezbollah leader in
Beirut, murdering two children and two women, and wounding scores in
the process. This escalation by Israel could very well
kick off World War 3. In
fact, the New York Times has just reported that Iran has now ordered
retaliation against Israel. Hezbollah and Yemen could easily join in
as their conflicts with Israel likewise accelerate.
If that wasn’t enough, Gaza’s
health ministry has declared a polio epidemic, the cause of which is
the lack of potable water and damage to sewer networks caused by
Netanyahu’s genocidal and criminal war against the Palestinians.
United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Gaza health ministry
discovered the virus in sewage that “collects and flows between the
tents of the displaced.”
Meanwhile, just days ago, Israeli
leadership was in crisis as ultra-right wing Israeli nationalists
stormed military facilities and officials clashed publicly over
whether Palestinian prisoners can be raped by Israeli guards while
detained. You read that right: Israeli rioters were demanding the
right to legally rape their prisoners.
The monstrosities of the Netanyahu
administration are boundless, and our tax dollars are enabling them
all. Most alarming of all is Israel's massive escalation toward a
wider war that could quickly mushroom into WWIII. Yet the silence on
this from the Biden/Harris administration is deafening.
That is why we
demand the US immediately cut off military aid to Israel, mandate a
ceasefire in Gaza, and arrest war criminal Netanyahu before he gets us
all killed.
