Dear John,

On Saturday, Israel suffered a deadly rocket barrage by Iran's proxy, Hezbollah. The attack killed 12 children at a soccer field. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed his people following the attack, saying, "These children are our children; they are the children of all of us. The State of Israel will not and cannot let this pass. Our response will come, and it will be tough."

When the Israeli Prime Minister recently spoke before a joint session of Congress, notably absent was Vice President Kamala Harris, who is now the presumptive Democrat nominee for president. At the very least, Vice President Harris' decision to skip the address shows a lack of support for Israel in its fight for survival and, at worst, could suggest a sympathy for antisemitic interests and anti-American activists.

With Israel facing a multitude of threats from Hamas and now Hezbollah, it is of utmost importance that our leaders and those running for president show their support for our ally Israel. Israel truly is in a fight to defend civilization against barbarism.

Israel should be able to count on the support of the United States. The hate against the Jewish people must be called out and opposed. Pray for Israel, especially for the families of those who suffered horrible loss on Saturday. Pray for America's leaders and those running for office. And please consider signing the petition below encouraging President Biden and American presidential candidates to commit to supporting Israel.

To President Biden and the Presidential Candidates:

It is of great importance that the next president of the United States commits to stand with our greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel.

For decades, there has been bipartisan support for Israel. Sadly, ever since the October 7 attack against Israel by Hamas terrorists, this support has been put into question.

Given the existential threat Israel is facing, it should be a priority of the current chief executive and every presidential candidate to be loud and clear about their support for Israel.

We ask that you affirm America's commitment to Israel's security and ensure that Israel maintains a qualitative military edge over its adversaries.

We ask that you support Israel's right and obligation to defend itself against terror attacks upon its people and against alternative forms of warfare being waged upon it legally, economically, culturally, and otherwise.

We ask that you make clear to the Israeli government that you will be a willing partner in their fight for survival.
