Under Project 2025, not only would the Department of Education be completely eliminated, but we would also see major funding cuts for schools, the discrimination against and forced outing of LGBTQIA+ students and more. |

But we aren’t about to let that happen: Run for Something is working nonstop to recruit and elect young, diverse progressives who will take down Moms for Liberty and keep Project 2025 from destroying our children’s education. And with our 50 State School Board Strategy, we’re also putting more progressive candidates on our school boards who will put a stop to book bans, protect our teachers and bring an end to the harassment of our LGBTQIA+ students. That’s why Moms for Liberty is so on board with this horrific plan. At this exact moment, they’re actively recruiting people to take over school boards with their extremist ideology, and they’re sure to do everything in their power to make sure that Project 2025 falls into place through their recruitment efforts.
