There’s a lot to look forward to this election year. In November, we have the chance to send the first woman President to the White House and elect the first Black Speaker of the House if Democrats win a majority in the House — and both of these chances run right through Virginia.
There’s no doubt Virginia is a competitive state this election. The latest polls show Vice President Harris winning by anywhere from 5% to a fraction of the vote — we can’t take that chance and let Trump and his MAGA buddies flip Virginia red.
And if Harris is winning statewide, she’s setting up Eugene Vindman and Missy Cotter Smasal for victories too, keeping VA-07 in our coalition and sending Jen Kiggans and her wealthy donors packing in VA-02. If we win the House, that means Hakeem Jeffries is the next Speaker, and the first Black person to serve in that position.
All roads to victory lead back to Virginia, Friend — and that means they lead back to our grassroots supporters like you.
