Dear John,

As we continue to see the harmful effects of COVID-19 on our community, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule our annual Washington, D.C. luncheon for the fall. The new date is Wednesday, September 30, 2020 and I am delighted to announce that Senator Sherrod Brown has confirmed his enthusiastic participation as keynote speaker.

We hope that we can count on you to make your regular luncheon contribution to support AFJ’s critical work to fight the confirmation of judges who back this administration's attacks on health care and the Affordable Care Act, which is a lifeline for so many. Your support will also help AFJ address the needs of the nonprofit sector as they navigate the new world of virtual advocacy, particularly in an election and census year. We also appreciate your support for our Building the Bench program as we identify diverse judicial nominees who will safeguard critical rights and protections, including health care. Please consider becoming an early supporter for our luncheon today.

In this challenging time, I value your steadfast commitment to AFJ. Your unwavering support ensures we can continue our work during the most critical election year of our lives.

If you'd like to discuss the luncheon or your support further, please contact Alisha Dingus at [email protected].

Warm regards,

Nan
