Dear John,

Kamala Harris has earned her nomination for President of the United States and now it is time we all rally behind her.

Kamala has worked her entire life defending the rights that are most important to us. She has stood up for vulnerable communities, staunchly defending the rights of women, people of color, and our kids. Since becoming District Attorney, she has used her prosecutorial skills to take on bullies and felons—so she is prepared to take on Donald Trump.

Just as she fought for California during her career as District Attorney, Attorney General, and Senator, Kamala will work for America and the communities that make this country great. If we are going to pass federal abortion protections, bolster our Social Security and Medicare programs, enforce climate protections, and more, we need Kamala in the White House and a Democratic majority in Congress.

Today is the last day of the month and we are up against an end-of-month deadline. Can you chip in today so we can meet our goal of $3,000 and elect Democrats from Congress to the White House?

This November when Americans head to the ballot box, they will be faced with a choice. The choice is between a convicted felon and a prosecutor who has spent her career putting away the bad guys and defending the people of California. Her historic election will put the first Black woman in the White House and the first person of Asian descent in the seat of power. 

We must work together to create a united government with a Democratic majority in Congress to pass meaningful legislation, and Kamala Harris in the White House to sign those bills into law.
