We’re seeing Democratic momentum grow exponentially in real time, with folks fired up and ready to win up and down the ballot all across the country.
Here on my re-election campaign, we’ve seen our strongest online fundraising ever — both in the amount we’re able to raise and, even more importantly , in the number of folks who are pitching in.
The wind is at our backs — and that’s a very good thing because we’re facing an uphill battle against Donald Trump and his MAGA acolytes (like my opponent, Hung Cao). They’ve been building a massive war chest for years, and they’ve got deep-pocketed donors and super PACs dumping money left and right to fund their push to flip VA.
Winning in November isn’t going to be easy. In fact, it’s going to take a pretty darn colossal effort from all of us . But after the past week, I am more confident than ever before that WE CAN DO IT.
