Perimenopause and menopause are incredibly common; the process will happen to half the population on Earth, give or take. So why’s it so hard to find a doctor who really gets it? That’s what Katy Elliott is wrestling with today: “At my most recent yearly physical with my regular doctor, I brought up how I’d been feeling: like crap,” she writes. “I expected I’d get a wealth of information from my doctor because we’re the same age, and she has two kids, too.
