John,

The Wisconsin primary election earlier this month could be a painful preview of what's to come if other states don't follow Washington's lead and implement universal mail-in voting. Already, Wisconsin state health officials have connected 19 coronavirus cases to the primary.

If we are going to protect voters' rights and make sure every voice is heard this November, we need to start looking ahead to Election Day now. In the COVID-19 relief package, Suzan introduced a key provision – including $400 million for expanding vote by mail, early voting, and other measures – to help states prepare for the upcoming November election.

But Donald Trump has already made it clear where he stands on voter protections. In a recent tweet he said universal mail-in voting "doesn’t work out well for Republicans."

Wisconsin's primary is what happens when self-serving politicians get their way. In a democracy that is for and by the people, voters shouldn't have to risk their health and safety to perform their civic duty. Add your name to our petition now if you agree.

The November 3rd election will be one of the most important elections of our lifetime. Suzan knows this, which is why she is advocating for comprehensive legislation that will put American voters' safety first.

We need you to join Suzan in this fight, John. Will you add your name now to demand voters' health and safety is put first this November?

Thank you,
