Hi John,

When polls closed yesterday, we made history, and I’m honored to reach out to you today as the first Native American in Arizona to win a congressional primary.

This victory would not have been possible without the sustained support of grassroots supporters like you: from volunteers who have helped to get the word out to everyone who has donated to this people-powered campaign.

Now, I'm moving on to the General Election against an extreme opponent with millions of dollars to spend attacking our campaign. Can I count on you to rush a donation to make sure we have the resources we need to respond to an onslaught of attack ads? [link removed]

As someone who has spent my entire career in public service right here in rural Arizona and as the former President of the Navajo Nation, I’ve had the profound privilege of serving and advocating for the well-being of Arizonians.

My focus has always been on improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic opportunities, while remaining steadfast in my commitment to the people of Arizona.

I’m so grateful for all the support we’ve received from across our district — folks who recognize that rural Arizona deserves better than a grandstanding partisan extremist who’s accomplished next to nothing for our communities. If you agree that it's time for a change, can you please chip in to help fund our campaign? [link removed]

I know what it takes to work across lines of difference to get the job done, and I’m determined to bring that same problem-solving approach to Congress. For too long, our region has been written off by DC politicians — including our current Congressman, who ignores our communities and our interests to focus on his podcasting career.

If elected, I will be the first Native American to serve as a Congressman for Arizona and I promise to always prioritize the people of AZ-2 first.

Thank you for your support,

Jonathan Nez
