Hi, Friend. PCCC co-founder Adam Green here. There is a very
important congressional race next week. See info below. The NY Times
compares Morgan Harper to AOC. Overnight, people chipped in and we are now
trying to raise her a final $10,000 $5,000 for her unique Get Out The Vote
campaigning in this crazy coronavirus time. [ [link removed] ]Any chance you can read the
below and chip in something today?

If you want to learn even more, she did a [ [link removed] ]Zoom video call with PCCC
members last week. Thanks for considering. Every bit is useful. Hope you
are staying safe. -- Adam

Morgan Harper (OH-03) was a senior advisor for Elizabeth Warren's Consumer
Financial Protection Bureau. She is now running for Congress on April 28
against incumbent Joyce Beatty, a corporate Democrat who has taken over $2
million in corporate PAC money, helped Republicans disenfranchise Black
voters through gerrymandering, and actively calls Medicare for All and a
Green New Deal a "pipe dream."

Morgan was born and raised in the district. She lived in a foster home
before being adopted by her mother, an immigrant from Trinidad. She earned
a law degree at Stanford and fought predatory lenders at the CFPB. The NY
Times [ [link removed] ]reports "there are similarities between Ms. Harper, 36, and
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York" as she campaigns
against economic segregation and for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, a
Jobs Guarantee, and universal child care.

Morgan out-fundraised her incumbent opponent for much of last year and was
ready for a March 17 election. Because of the pandemic, her primary was
moved to April 28. Her opponent has taken advantage of that extra month,
re-filling her coffers with corporate money that she is now using on the
airwaves. Morgan has TV, digital, and radio ads -- but needs more money to
increase their volume for voters making up their mind in the final days.
She is also running an aggressive voter contact program by phone, which
costs money.
