Windows 10 PC Basics
August 12, 13, & 14, 2024 from 3–4 p.m.
Location: On-site in Hinckley, ME at Northern Kennebec Valley CareerCenter SEDC, 23 Stanley Rd KVCC--Alfond Campus, Averill Building
This is a series of 3 sessions. Learn how to get the most out of your Windows 10 computer. In this class you will learn about the operating system, navigating the desktop and taskbar, the File Explorer, working with files, using Microsoft Edge and so much more.
Requirements for this class: A Windows 10 computer with Internet access.

Android Basics
August 19, 20, & 21, 2024 from 3–4 p.m.
Location: Northern Kennebec Valley CareerCenter - SEDC 23 Stanley Rd KVCC--Alfond Campus, Averill Building, Hinckley ME
This is a series of 3 sessions. Get started with your Android device, learn how to use essential applications like email, contacts, camera, and Chrome, and manage your settings.

Each of the centers across the state provides public computers with internet access, Microsoft Office, resume/cover letter writing software, and O*Net [ [link removed] ] software for personal skills assessment.
Employers can list their open positions on Maine JobLink and use our online system which matches jobs with candidates. All CareerCenter services are provided at no charge to employers and job seekers. Veterans and eligible spouses receive priority of service in all Department of Labor programs.
